Air Force Occupational and Aeronautical Badges
Badges of the United States Air Force are military awards that designate aeronautical ratings, special skills, career field qualifications, and serve as identification. Most are awarded at either basic, senior and command levels, across different skill fields.
Aeronautical badges are awarded to pilots, and Occupational badges are awarded to Air Force personnel engaged in duties other than flying.
Here are some of the Air Force Occupation and Aeronautical Badges and their descriptions.
Acquisition & Financial Management
At the basic level, this badge is awarded after graduating from technical school. At the senior level, it's awarded to officers who have reached 7 years in the specialty, and to enlisted personnel at the "craftsman" skill level. The master badge is awarded to enlisted personnel who have at least five years' experience at the craftsman level, and to officers after 15 years in the specialty.

Air Battle Manager
This badge is awarded to officers and enlisted members trained and qualified for airborne command and control, air surveillance, electronic warfare, and airborne weapons capabilities in aircraft.

Enlisted: (1A5X1, 1A4X1) Air Battle Management
Air Traffic Control
This badge is awarded to enlisted personnel and officers after completing air traffic control technical training.

Biomedical Sciences Corps
This field, comprised entirely of commissioned officers, includes specialties in the Air Force Medical Corps, including physical therapists, optometrists, podiatrists, psychologists, clinical dietitians, and others. All in the Biomedical Science Corps are eligible for this badge.

Command and Control
This badge is given to enlisted airmen who complete training in the command and control systems operations career field, This may include, among other duties, aerospace surveillance, aerospace vehicle detection including missile warnings systems. This is given to enlisted personnel only, there is no equivalent for officers.

EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal)
This badge is given to enlisted personnel who handle the disposal of explosive ordnance. It's an enlisted-only field.
Enlisted: 3E8X1, Explosive Ordinance Disposal
Flight nurses treat patients during aeromedical evacuation and airlift flights. This badge is given to graduates of an accredited nursing program who have completed an Air Force flight nurse course. The nursing corps is an officer-only career field.
This badge is given to those serving in the Air Force intelligence career field, which includes personnel who collect, produce and distribute data that have strategic, tactical, or technical value for security and intelligence purposes.

Enlisted: (1N) Intelligence
This badge is given to several jobs in the maintenance career field, which has a variety of responsibilities.
Officers: (21) Aircraft Maintenance & Munitions Officers
Enlisted: (2A, 2P, 2W) Manned Aerospace Maintenance, Precision Measurement, Munitions, and Weapons; (2E) Comm-Electronic Systems; (2R) Maintenance Management Systems
The judge advocate is a licensed practicing attorney, and the JAG corps serves as the judicial arm of the Air Force. There is no enlisted equivalent for this badge.
Officers: (51) Judge Advocate Officers
This badge is for Air Force personnel in the weather career field, which is involved in collecting, analyzing, and disseminating weather information, including forecasts of weather conditions in the atmosphere and space.

This badge is for members of the Air Force in the nurse corps.
