Home-based sales, support and customer service agents

Major U.S. airline based out of Dallas, TX, employs approximately 80,000 people, a small fraction of whom work from home.

Types of Work-at-Home Positions:
The airline hires reservation sales agents who work from home but out of particular locations, which include Dallas, TX, Cary, NC, and Miami, FL. Agents "apply sales techniques while providing schedules, fare and flight information."

Applicants should be 18-years old and have a high school diploma or GED. Previous reservations or customer service experience in a call center environment is preferred but not necessarily required. Agents must live within a 75-mile radius of their home office and be prepared to work the first 12 weeks from that office. They must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, holidays and nights. Employees must have a computer with a high-speed Internet connection and a landline phone dedicated to this job.

Salary and Benefits:
Pay scale begins at between $10 and $11, and after a six month probationary period employees are eligible for a small raise. Health and dental insurance, paid vacation and travel privileges are among the employment position's benefits.

Candidates who are contacted for a phone interviews may then progress to a face-to-face panel interview which includes a city code test.
