An internship at McKinsey is the best opportunity to explore management. The typical duration is 8–12 weeks in the summer. There may also be other opportunities during the spring or fall. The intern will work on what is called a client engagement as part of a McKinsey team. Dependent on how well the internship progresses the team can then make a decision as to whether or not to extend a permanent offer.
