Laura is a former human resource professional who’s now a freelance writer and business coach to new and aspiring freelancers. She is passionate about helping others earn a living that truly fits their life. Laura has been included in articles on sites such as CNBC Acorns, Fox Business, and Student Loan Hero.
She earned degrees in psychology from Bridgewater State University and in business administration from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

Laura spent almost a decade in human resources, holding roles of increasing responsibility ranging from human resource associate to human resource director. Laura supported employees in a variety of industries such as retail, education, telecommunications, mental health, and manufacturing.
In 2018, Laura left her career to pursue freelancing and entrepreneurship. She now resides by a lake in Central Florida, but often travels back to her home state of Massachusetts to visit loved ones. Laura has contributed to outlets such as Forbes.com, LendingTree, and Rocket Homes (a Quicken Loans brand).
Laura earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bridgewater State University. She has completed coursework towards a Doctor of Business Administration from Saint Leo University.
